Description of NFPA 101 2003

Per NFPA's requirements, when purchasing NFPA 2021 Standards and/or 2020 NFPA 70 (NEC), you must subscribe to at least one more NFPA Standard to complete your purchase.   • Revised rules for testing of mattresses and upholstered furniture

  • Criteria that details when smoke compartments need to be sprinklered as part of a rehabilitation of a health care facility
  • Requirements for subdivision of building space in apartment buildings, new hotels, and dormitories
  • A provision for plastic signs and kiosks in mercantile occupancies
  • Changes concerning safe egress requirements in industrial occupancies
  • Requirements that affect bulkheads, stairs, and stair illumination in one- and two-family dwellings
